TUCKER TRACHEA TUBES AND VALVES

Tucker Tracheostomy Tubes
Sterling silver. Interchangeable. Acutely curved to a full 90 degree arc. The neckplate, with small swivel lock,
is of a distinctive design for identification purposes. A set consists of an outer tube, inner tube and an obturator.
Tucker-valved inner tubes (see below) are accessories.

Tucker Speaker Valve
The Tucker Valve is built into an inner tube and allows for normal speech without covering the tube with a finger.
The valve opens on inhalation through the tube. On exhalation, the valve leaflet closes, forcing air up through the upper airway.
Tucker-valved inner tubes are available for regular length Jackson and Tucker Tubes as a standard item in sizes 4 through 9 in Tucker Tubes,
and 4 through 8 in Jackson Tubes. Other sizes and styles are made on special order. The Tucker Valve is for use with sterling silver tubes only.
Tucker Valve Inner Tubes are not supplied as part of the regular trachea tube and must be ordered separately.
An obturator is supplied with the inner and outer tube sets.
